Santa Marta is the oldest city in South America, founded in 1525 by Rodrigo de Bastidas.

There are many places of interest to visit for their history and nature and Santa Marta is well known for the hospitality and friendliness of its people.

In this small town of Santa Marta you will find ‘Recinto del Pensar’, a beautiful ‘cabaña’ (rural house) built in 2008 in an undeveloped part of the city, far enough away from the noise, hustle and bustle of the town to be relaxed and tranquil, but within easy reach of the town and local beaches when you so desire.

Recinto del Pensar is only 5 minutes from the airport, 12 minutes from the International Beach Bello Horizonte and only 15 minutes by car from Rodadero, the main tourist and nightlife area. The national park Tyrona and the Sierra Nevada are only a 45 minute drive away.

How to make your reservation for Recinto del Pensar

Reservation is made only by making a 50% deposit before arrival. The outstanding balance is to be made in cash upon arrival.
